What are these?

CardGuards™ are a pair of cards that act as a barrier to radio signals preventing hackers from wirelessly sniffing out your ID information when in close proximity (see videos above).

How to use?

Simply place the CardGuards inside your wallet either side of single or multiple RFID cards. Can be concealed behind existing cards or placed in individual sleeves (see above photos for example placement).

Why do I need RFID protection?

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. A technology that allows us to make payments and gain access to buildings and services in a more efficient way than older smart card and magnetic strip technologies.

Although this new wireless technology has brought benefits over its predecessors, it has also brought with it new opportunities for hackers to steal card details by simply walking in close proximity to us and 'reading' our card details without any physical contact.

This allows the hacker to create clones of our cards and access our funds, services or buildings with the same privileges as the original card holder.
